Summary:
Day 2 – Teotihuacán and Pre-Hispanic Cuisine
We’ll spend the day exploring Teotihuacán, one of the most impressive archaeological sites in Mesoamerica. We’ll walk along the Avenue of the Dead, and for those who are up for it, we’ll climb the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon. A local guide will share insights into the ancient worldview of this sacred city. For lunch, we’ll enjoy a pre-Hispanic tasting menu inside a volcanic cave.

Day 3 – Coyoacán and the Blue House
We’ll wander through the cobblestone streets of Coyoacán, one of the city’s most vibrant and historic neighborhoods. We’ll explore its plazas and visit the local market, then step into the life and home of Frida Kahlo at the Casa Azul. We’ll wrap up the day with a traditional Mexican lunch at a local spot.

Day 4 – Day Trip to Tepoztlán
We’ll head out to Tepoztlán, a mountain town filled with mysticism and charm. Those who wish can hike up to the Tepozteco pyramid for a view of the valley, while others can stay in town and explore the market and historic convent. We’ll enjoy a farm-to-table lunch before heading back to the city.

Day 5 – Xochimilco, Coyoacán Center & Folk Art Museum
We’ll glide through the canals of Xochimilco on a colorful trajinera, learning about the ancient chinampa farming system, with optional live music. Afterwards, we’ll return to Coyoacán for lunch and spend the afternoon either exploring the Folk Art Museum or enjoying free time in the city center.

Day 6 – Flight to Oaxaca + City Walk
We’ll fly to Oaxaca in the morning and, once settled in, head out for a walking tour through its beautiful colonial center. We’ll visit the Santo Domingo Temple, the pedestrian walkway of Macedonio Alcalá, local markets, and the lively zócalo. In the evening, we’ll share our first Oaxacan dinner together.

Day 7 – Mitla, Teotitlán del Valle & Hierve el Agua
We’ll start the day at Mitla, a sacred archaeological site known for its intricate Zapotec geometric patterns. Then we’ll visit a family workshop in Teotitlán del Valle to learn how natural dyes are made from insects and plants. In the afternoon, we’ll visit Hierve el Agua — a natural rock formation that looks like a frozen waterfall — with time to walk or simply take in the view.

Day 8 – Monte Albán & Artisan Rout
We’ll explore Monte Albán, the mountaintop capital of the Zapotec civilization. After lunch, we’ll dive into Oaxaca’s artisan traditions by visiting either the alebrije workshops in San Martín Tilcajete or the black clay pottery studios in San Bartolo Coyotepec.

Day 9 – Free Day in Oaxaca
This day is all yours. You can stroll through museums, visit the Ethnobotanical Garden, do some shopping, enjoy the cafés — or simply rest. We’ll give suggestions for dinner if you’d like to try one of the city’s traditional restaurants.

Day 10 – Flight to Mérida + City Tour
We’ll catch a morning flight to Mérida and, once we’re checked in, explore the highlights of the Yucatán capital: the main square, the cathedral, Paseo de Montejo, and the local markets. The evening is free to discover Yucatecan food on your own.

Day 11 – Río Lagartos & Transfer to El Cuyo
We’ll leave early for Río Lagartos, where we’ll take a boat tour to see pink flamingos, crocodiles, and the famous salt flats. We’ll also do a traditional Mayan mud bath before enjoying lunch. Then we’ll head to El Cuyo, a peaceful beach town where we’ll stay right on the shore.

Day 12 – Yoga & Las Coloradas
We’ll start the day with a beachside yoga session. Then we’ll visit Las Coloradas to see the bright pink lagoons and learn about the natural salt production process. After lunch in Río Lagartos, we’ll return to El Cuyo for some free time by the sea. In the evening, we’ll share a coastal dinner under the stars.

Day 13 – Yoga + Transfer to Cancún
We’ll have a final yoga practice and morning walk before heading to Cancún. On the way, we’ll stop in Mérida for a break or a bit more exploring. We’ll spend our last night at a hotel near the airport.

his journey through Mexico is a deeply cultural, spiritual, and sensory experience. We’ll explore three key regions of the country — the Central Highlands, Oaxaca, and the Yucatán Peninsula — diving into their pre-Hispanic history, mestizo identity, and wellness traditions. The itinerary combines archaeological sites with traditional cuisine, rituals, nature, and folk art. Everything is planned with intention: to reconnect with our roots, honor local wisdom, and build community among those who travel.

We’ll visit archaeological sites, traditional towns, local kitchens, and natural spaces with symbolic meaning.
